Lock Screen QR code

Show your HeyDrop QR code on your iPhone Lock Screen and Dynamic Island so you can share without unlocking.

HeyDrop can show your card's QR code on your iPhone Lock Screen as a Live Activity. It's available on every plan. Someone can scan it without you unlocking or opening the app.

What it shows

Your QR code with "Scan to share", your name and job title, and two shortcuts: Contacts (opens your contacts) and Scan (opens the AI Scanner). On iPhones with a Dynamic Island, "Business Card" appears there while it's active.

Turn it on or off

  • On: Settings → Pin QR to Lock Screen (or Share Card → Pin QR to Lock Screen). You'll see "QR was pinned to Lock Screen".

  • Off: Settings → Remove QR from Lock Screen. You can also swipe the QR off the Lock Screen.

It usually turns on automatically after you sign in. The first time, iOS asks "Allow Live Activities from HeyDrop?". Tap Allow.

It doesn't appear

  1. Make sure Live Activities are allowed: iPhone Settings → HeyDrop → Live Activities is on. If HeyDrop shows "To show your QR code on the Lock Screen, enable Live Activities in Settings.", that's the setting to fix.

  2. Go to Settings → Pin QR to Lock Screen in HeyDrop again.

  3. iOS ends Live Activities after some hours. Pin it again when needed.

Which card is shown?

The card currently selected in the Cards tab. Switch cards first, then pin again.

Is there a Home Screen widget?

No. The Lock Screen QR is the quick-access option.
