Before you delete
Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your HeyDrop account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → HeyDrop → Cancel Subscription, or in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
Export your contacts if you want to keep them. Pro users can use Contacts → Export Contacts → Export to file (CRM-Ready) to save a CSV first. Contacts already synced to your iPhone's Contacts app stay there.
Deleting is permanent and happens immediately. There is no confirmation step, and a deleted account can't be restored.
Delete your account in the app
Open HeyDrop and go to Settings.
Tap My account.
Scroll down and tap Delete my account.
On the next screen, tap Delete account.
You're signed out and returned to the Welcome screen. Your cards go offline, and your account, cards and collected contacts are deleted from HeyDrop.
Only want to remove one card?
You don't need to delete your account. See "Multiple cards: create, switch and delete".
Lock Screen QR still showing after deletion?
Swipe the HeyDrop QR off your Lock Screen, or long-press it and remove it. You can also delete the app.
Deleting an account you can't sign in to
Sign in with the method you originally used (see "Signing in, login methods and 'my cards are gone'"), then follow the steps above. If you signed up with Apple's Hide My Email, sign in with Continue with Apple.
Team members
If your card belongs to your company's HeyDrop Teams account, your company admin controls that card. Deleting your account removes your access. Ask your admin to remove your team card from the Teams admin panel.
