Can I use the app in my language?
The HeyDrop app is currently available in English only, whatever language your phone is set to. There is no language setting in the app. You can write your card in any language: your name, job title, company, links and button labels appear exactly as you type them.
Does HeyDrop support NFC (tap phones to share)?
The app doesn't share your card over NFC from phone to phone. To share in person, use:
your QR code (Cards tab, or Share Card)
your Apple Wallet card, which shows your QR code even when the app is closed
the Lock Screen QR, available without unlocking your phone
Share Card → Share, to send your link by AirDrop, Messages, email or any app
Physical NFC cards
You can order a physical NFC metal card that opens your HeyDrop card when someone taps it with their phone. In the app go to Settings → Order physical NFC metal cards, or Wallet → Get NFC metal card →. This opens the HeyDrop NFC shop with your card link already filled in.
What about iPhone's NameDrop / "Bring devices together"?
NameDrop is an Apple feature that exchanges the contact card saved in your iPhone's Contacts app. HeyDrop isn't part of it. If NameDrop pops up when you hold phones together and you'd rather share HeyDrop, show your QR code instead. You can also turn NameDrop off in iPhone Settings → General → AirDrop → Bringing Devices Together.
Is there a Home Screen widget?
No, but there's something faster: the Lock Screen QR. It shows your card's QR code on your Lock Screen. See "Lock Screen QR code".
Is HeyDrop available on Android?
Yes, HeyDrop is on Google Play. Your account works on both platforms: sign in with the same method on each phone.
Do the people I share with need the app?
No. Your card opens as a web page in any browser, and they can save your details straight to their phone's contacts.
Can I use HeyDrop on a computer?
The individual HeyDrop app is for iPhone and Android. Your card itself is a web page anyone can open on a computer. Companies using HeyDrop Teams manage cards from a web admin panel at app.heydrop.me.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored on encrypted servers in the United States.

Settings → Get professional photo - HeyPhoto opens HeyPhoto, our AI headshot app.
How do I rate HeyDrop or leave feedback?
The app sometimes asks for an App Store rating. You can also rate HeyDrop any time on its App Store page.
