Joining your company's team in the HeyDrop app

For team members: how to accept a HeyDrop Teams invitation on your phone, find your team card, and what you can edit.

Accept your invitation

Your company's HeyDrop admin invites you using your work email. To join:

  1. Install HeyDrop from the App Store (or Google Play).

  2. On the Welcome screen tap Member of a Team? Click here →.

  3. Enter the same work email the invitation was sent to and tap Continue.

  4. Enter the 6-digit code we email you.

  5. On You've been invited tap Accept.

Your team card now appears in the Cards tab. If you already use HeyDrop with that same email, just sign in as usual. The invitation appears after sign-in.

Didn't see an invitation? You probably signed in with a different email, or with Apple/Google using another address. Sign out (Settings → Log out) and sign in with Member of a Team? Click here → using exactly the email your admin invited. Then check that the invitation email went to that address.

Your team card vs your personal cards

  • Your team card is created and paid for by your company. It doesn't count toward any personal card limit.

  • You can still have personal cards. Creating additional personal cards needs your own HeyDrop Pro plan, even if your company pays for Teams.

  • Swipe the card carousel on the Cards tab to switch between cards. Whatever card is selected is the one you share.

What you can change

In the app you can edit your team card's personal details, links and photo through Edit. Your company may set the design, logo and company details centrally from the Teams admin panel, and those can be updated by your admin at any time.

If you see "Team you are part of needs to be upgraded to perform this action. Please contact the team owner." or "Your HeyDrop TEAM subscription has expired", your company's Teams plan isn't active. Your company admin needs to renew it in the Teams admin panel.

Leaving a team or changing companies

Ask your company admin to remove your team card. Your personal HeyDrop account and personal cards stay yours.

Team admins

Team admins manage everyone's cards on the web at app.heydrop.me. In the app, admins can open the admin panel from Cards → Team Cards.
