Personal details: name, job title, email, phone and photo

How to edit the name, job title, email, phone number and photo shown on your HeyDrop card.

Edit your personal details

  1. Go to the Cards tab and tap Edit. Or go to Settings → Edit Card.

  2. Tap Personal details.

  3. Edit Full Name, Job title / short bio (optional), Email and Phone.

There is no Save button. Each field saves automatically when you tap out of it or go back. If a field shows a red border (for example "Must be a valid email"), fix it before leaving, otherwise that change isn't saved.

Add or change your photo

  1. In Personal details, tap Add photo (or Change photo).

  2. Choose Choose from library, Take a photo, or Get professional photo - HeyPhoto for an AI headshot.

  3. Crop the photo to the square and tap Choose.

The first time, iOS asks for access to your photos or camera. If you tapped Don't Allow earlier, enable it in iPhone Settings → HeyDrop → Photos / Camera.

My card still shows the old phone number or email

Your card has two places with contact details:

  • Personal details: the name, email and phone at the top of your card and in the saved contact.

  • Links and content: buttons like Call me and Email me each keep their own number or address. Editing Personal details does not change them.

To fix a button, go to Edit → Links and content, tap Edit next to Call me or Email me, and update it.

Account details vs card details

Settings → My account shows your account's name, phone and work email. These are separate from what's on your card, and changing them doesn't change your card. Your Login method is shown there too and can't be changed. See "Signing in, login methods and 'my cards are gone'".

Several phone numbers or emails

Add extra numbers or addresses as buttons: Edit → Links and content → Add a link, email, phone and more, then choose Call, SMS or Email. Give each one its own link text, for example "Call UK office".
