Everything you need to know to set up and use your HeyDrop digital business card.

What is HeyDrop?

HeyDrop is an AI networking platform that turns your iPhone into a powerful digital business card. Share your card instantly via QR code, Apple Wallet, link, or NFC — and capture contacts with the AI Scanner.

App Navigation

The app has 4 tabs at the bottom:

  • Cards — manage and share your digital business cards

  • AI Scanner (pink brain icon) — scan physical business cards and event badges

  • Contacts — everyone you've collected via your card or scanner

  • Settings — account, card actions, subscription, support

Setting Up Your Card

  1. Open the app and tap Cards → Edit (pencil icon)

  2. Add your Personal Details: name, job title, email, phone

  3. Add your Company Details: company name, website, address

  4. Add Links: social media, booking links, payment, and more

  5. Customize your design: logo, brand colors, card style

  6. Tap Save — your card is live at heydrop.me/yourname

Sharing Your Card

Go to Cards → Share Card (blue button at bottom). You can share via:

  • QR code (show screen in person)

  • Apple Wallet (tap the 👜 Wallet button under your card)

  • Copy link, SMS, Email, WhatsApp, LinkedIn

  • AirDrop, or "Send another way" (iOS share sheet)

  • Plus — Apple Wallet, 3 cards, premium designs, 100 AI scans/month

  • AI Pro — 5 cards, 500 AI scans/month, AI follow-ups, priority support

Common Questions

I can't log in to my account

Make sure you're using the same sign-in method you used when you first created your account (Apple, Google, or Email). Log out via Settings → Log out and sign back in the same way.

My phone number or email looks wrong on the card

Check two places: Edit Card → Personal Details (your name, email, phone) and Edit Card → Links (the "Call me" and "Email me" link buttons). Both need to match.

Can I add my address?

Yes — go to Edit Card → Links → Add a link → Navigate. Enter your address and it'll appear as a tappable map link on your card.

Can I add multiple phone numbers or emails?

Yes — go to Edit Card → Links → Add a link and choose Call or Email to add as many as you need.

Can I add my social media?

Yes — go to Edit Card → Links → Add a link → Socials. Add all your social profiles from there.

How do I add my card to Apple Wallet?

Go to Cards tab → tap the 👜 Wallet button under your card, or go to Settings → Add to Apple Wallet. This requires a Plus or AI Pro plan.

Does HeyDrop support NFC?

Apple restricts NFC to payment terminals only, so phone-to-phone NFC isn't available. Use your QR code, Apple Wallet, or AirDrop to share contactlessly in person.

Is there a free trial?

No free trial, but you can start with a monthly plan to try before committing annually. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime from Settings → Subscription.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → My account → Delete my account. This permanently removes all your data and cannot be undone.
