Overview
Your HeyDrop card lives at a public URL like heydrop.me/yourname. By default this is auto-generated. With a Plus or AI Pro plan, you can customize the slug to something memorable and on-brand.
How to Set Your Custom URL
Go to Cards → Edit Card
Scroll to the Custom URL section
Enter your desired slug (e.g.
janedoe,jane-acme)Tap Save — your card is immediately live at the new URL
URL Rules
Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only
No spaces or special characters
Must be unique — if it's taken, you'll be prompted to choose another
Minimum 3 characters
Changing Your URL
You can change your slug at any time. When you do, your old URL will no longer work — anyone who saved the old link will get a broken page. Update any places you've shared your link (email signature, LinkedIn, etc.) after changing it.
Custom URLs for Multiple Cards
Each card gets its own unique URL. If you have multiple cards, set a distinct slug for each one (e.g. jane-work and jane-personal).
Plan Requirement
Custom card URLs are available on Plus and AI Pro plans. Free plan cards use an auto-generated URL. Upgrade at Settings → Upgrade or at heydrop.app/upgrade.
